What is more important than our children? We want them to be happy and happy and have fun, both at home and in preschools and in their free time. But we also want to feel sure that they don’t injure themselves during play and fuss. We at Brogård-sand have thought about that. So we’ve come up with a sandbox sand that has just the right texture and grain for even really little builders to succeed with sand cakes and castles, and as porous and soft playground sand as possible to cushion any falls from swings and stands.
Shock-absorbing playground sand
Sand that meets EU requirements. For swings and play stands, you want sand that absorbs shock in the event of a fall. Our sand meets the EU’s requirements for playground sand and is tested by the Swedish Testing and Research Institute in Borås and SS-EN 1177 for playground shock-absorbing surfaces. Thanks to these standards, it is possible to dimension how thick the sand layer should be to minimize damage, based on the highest drop height in the relevant play area. Our playground sand is also dust-free and self-draining. This means that the children do not get dirty or wet when they play. Thanks to the sand’s grain distribution, purity and naturally round shape, it also does not pack and become hard, even after rain. The security level is therefore maintained regardless of the weather. The round shape also reduces the risk of chafing.
Important with the right thickness
In order to obtain maximum safety and the greatest possible shock-absorbing effect, it is important that you, who are going to buy the sand, inform us of the highest drop height and the size of the playground. Then we can work out the required thickness of the sand, and the children can play happily and safely. Sandbox sand – for little builders and bakers When it comes to sandbox sand, it is the malleability that is important. Our sandbox sand is developed for the best possible moldability and bakeability. It is also free of clay particles, which means it drains naturally and does not clump when it rains. Plus, the kids stay both cleaner and drier, much to the happiness of all parents and teachers.
